Think you don't have a dark side? Think again. Everyone has a Shadow Self: the side of your soul that contains all the pieces of yourself that you don't want to face or admit to having. These are qualities that you normally perceive as weak or defective, so you avoid them because you want to be perceived in the world as a certain way. Our society validates positivity, happiness, politeness, & joy. It condemns sadness, anger, desires, perversions, chaos, & the unknown. So, you learn to hide parts of yourself away & shame your Shadow qualities. This is why you feel incomplete, broken, & afraid of your potential. It's why you play small, numb out from the world, & stay in your comfort zone. Well, it's time to feel whole again & in order to do that, you've gotta become besties with your Shadow.
